One, The B
By Kage Alan

Jet Li plays Yu-Law, a modern day criminal from a parallel universe. Actually, he used to be a cop, but when he discovered that he became more and more powerful each time he eliminated his mirror self in the other universes, he went for the power. He's finally caught by the Police (Delroy Lindo and Jason Statham) of his universe after 123 kills, but before they can send him to the Hades Penal Colony, his girlfriend (Carla Gugino) sets off an explosion that allows Yul-Law to escape to our universe. Why ours? Because there's only one of him left to kill and the possibility of becoming a god is too much temptation to pass up. So, Yul-Law is now hunting in L.A. for Gabe (Jet Li again), a police officer married to T.K. (Carla Gugino again). It seems that while Yul-Law has been getting more and more powerful with each kill, so has Gabe because the power is shared between whoever is left alive. You can guess what happens once all of this is set up. Yes, lots of fights and even more special effects that range from "give me a break that looks fake!" to "man I want to see that again!". The police are after Gabe, the alternate universe police are after Yul-Law and you just know there's going to be one heck of a finale between Gabe and Yul-Law. "The One" was originally written for The Rock, but since he chose to go and film "The Scorpion King" instead, they had to find somebody else. Fortunately, Jet Li brings a little something extra to the project than simply draping his knuckles on the ground like the Rock would have done.
